Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says the crash happened about 6:10 am on KY 381 just south of KY 94. Deputies arrived at the scene and found a tri-axle dump truck off the side of the road, overturned onto its side.
According to police, 57-year-old Eddie L. Franklin of Farmington, was traveling south on KY 381 when he lost control in a curve. Franklin's truck dropped off the left shoulder of the road and overturned.
The Mayfield Fire Department and Mayfield/Graves County EMS had to extricate Franklin from the wreckage. He was transported by ambulance to meet with Air Evac, where he was air-lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
