Calloway County Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Kentucky State Police arrested a Calloway County man Tuesday on child pornography charges.

Detectives said 57-year-old James Harper was charged with possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

Police say the KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Harper actively sharing files of child sexual exploitation online, and seized electronic equipment Tuesday at a home during a search.

Harper was booked into the Calloway County Jail on 44 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
