The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and the Calloway County Board of Education have conducted a joint investigation into alleged threats against Calloway County High School. 

The investigation, which began on Tuesday around 5:00 pm, resulted from students reportedly overhearing a person make threats against the school. 

The students reported the incident to school administrators, and the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation revealed that a 15-year-old student made threats against the school. 

Later Tuesday evening, a charge of second degree terroristic threatening was issued, after the juvenile was located.

The juvenile was taken into custody and detained, before being taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
