A Cadiz policeman was forced to use his taser to subdue an irate man.

On Thursday evening, May 24th around 5:30 pm, Cadiz officers were called to a disturbance at 98 Wharton Road.  While officers were on the scene, Roy Lee Wright, 46, became irate and stated "if they didn't leave, they would leave in body bags."

Wright actively resisted attempts by police to place him under arrest.  The officer then deployed his taser to help make the arrest.  Wright, who is 6-foot-5 and weights 280 pounds, was cooperative from this point forward.

He was arrested on charges of terroristic threatening - third degee and resisting arrest. Wright was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
