Crews have recovered one of the bodies of the two missing fishermen who disappeared March 6 near Kentucky Dam.
Search crews had been looking for brothers Gene May and James May. The body recovered Saturday was that of 65-year-old James May.
Gene, James and Roy May, who are all brothers from Graves County, were fishing on their pontoon boat March 6 when they apparently developed engine trouble and could not avoid the currents near the spillway. The circulating waters pulled the boat under and ripped it apart.
Roy was able to escape the water, and after being treated at a hospital, is recovering at home.
