The crash occurred on KY 131 near Trace Creek Baptist Church.
Graves County deputies said 38-year-old Michael E. Rowland of Benton ran off the shoulder, through a yard and struck two trees.
The force of the impact trapped Rowland in the vehicle. Several people arrived on the scene and provided aid, moving pieces of the interior of the truck so he could breathe easier, then the Mayfield Fire Department arrived and extricated him from the vehicle.
Rowland was flown by Air Evac to an Evansville hospital.
