Battle of Badges Blood Drive Today in Mayfield

First responders in Graves County are asking folks to roll up their sleeves today to help save lives.

The Mayfield Police Department, Mayfield Fire Department and Graves County Sheriff's Department are hosting the "Battle of the Badges Blood Drive" on Tuesday to benefit the American Red Cross. Each agency is asking people to support them in the friendly competition to see who can bring in the most donors. 

The event is from 8 am until 4 pm at Mayfield City Hall, at 211 East Broadway.

Anyone who wants to set up an appointment ahead-of-time can call 800-RED-CROSS or use the website www.RedCrossBlood.org. If using the website, enter "MayfieldBadges" in the appropriate field. 

Online registrants can also save up to 15 minutes at the event by going to www.RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass. This allows them to do required reading and answer health history questions in advance.
