Three people were arrested Monday night on drug charges after a traffic stop in Ballard County.

The Ballard County Sheriff's Office says deputies pulled over a vehicle at around 8:30 p.m. on Paducah Road for a traffic violation. Deputies said the driver, Tommy Amis of Paducah, gave them consent to search his vehicle.

During the search, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, scales, and other drug paraphernalia.

Amis and two passengers in the vehicle, Jeanie Carter of Wickliffe and Terry Berry of Paducah, were all arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
