The Ballard County Sheriff’s Office says deputies stopped a vehicle shortly before 11 p.m. driven by Wesley Reynolds. Lakyn Harned, a passenger of the vehicle, then fled the scene.
Harned was apprehended after a short pursuit. She was found to have several outstanding felony warrants in McCracken County. She was also found with 3.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
A second passenger, Robert Marshall, was also arrested for a warrant out of Illinois. Reynolds was charged with careless driving and operating on a suspended driver’s license. Harned was charged with fleeing and evading police, resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine.
