Noel Coplen, director of the local health department, said a Graves County resident in her 60‘s tested positive for COVID-19. She is in isolation at her home.
Coplen said the woman had been self-isolating by remaining at home and limiting contact with family and others, thus reducing infectious contact with other community members.
Coplen urged residents to be mindful of those who are at greater risk for contracting the virus, including older adults and those with underlying health conditions.
