Trigg County home destroyed by fire

A Monday morning fire destroyed a home in Trigg County.

WKDZ reported the South Road Fire Department responded to the call on Maggie Road and found the home fully engulfed in flames. 

The occupant of the home was able to get out by jumping through a window after spotting the blaze in the hallway.

The man was not hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
