A Tennessee juvenile was arrested on Saturday night after crashing a stolen vehicle in Lyon County.
The single-vehicle crash on KY 293 near KY 818 was reported to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office just before 10 p.m. on Saturday. Deputies found the vehicle involved at a gas station on KY 293 near I-24. The 17-year-old driver was identified as a native of Ashland City, Tennessee, and the vehicle he had crashed was reported stolen out of Paducah earlier in the day.
The juvenile was driving on a license that had been suspended in Tennessee. Deputies also reported that the young man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
The 17-year-old male was charged with receiving stolen property, DUI, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
