Williamson County Crash Claims Two Lives

Two people were killed in a crash Wednesday morning in Williamson County.

According to the Illinois State Police, 54-year-old Casey Odum of Creal Springs was driving north on Illinois Route 166, about a half-mile south of Creal Springs at 11:20 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line and crashed head-on with another vehicle driven by 79-year-old Orson Kramer of Ozark.

Both Kramer and his passenger, 81-year-old Judith Kramer were killed in the crash.

Odum was flown to a regional hospital with serious injuries. 

The road was closed for more than three hours for the crash investigation and cleanup.
