Plane crash near Fulton Airport keeps county road closed

A Fulton County road will remain closed overnight after a plane crash occurred on Friday afternoon.

KY 1706 was closed between KY 166 and KY 94 after 1:15 pm. The road is located less than a mile west of the Fulton Airport.

Emergency crews have been on the scene through the day, and an Federal Aviation Administration investigation of the crash is also planned.
