Paducah man arrested after pursuit of stolen truck

A Paducah man was arrested Monday concerning a report of a stolen truck reported by Paducah police Sunday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office observed the stolen truck in the parking lot of Kroger on Park Avenue.

When a deputy tried to stop the truck, it quickly began to flee to parking lot toward Park Avenue, nearly striking another deputy's vehicle head on.

The truck went down Park Avenue onto HC Mathis Drive and 14th Street, where it was stopped.

Twenty year old Justus K. White was arrested on a variety of charges inclduing receiving stolen property less than $10,000, a number of traffic offenses and fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
