Two sent to hospital after crash near Ledbetter bridge

Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of US 62/Kentucky Dam Road and US 60 early Thursday morning. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 65-year-old Russell Murphy of Paducah was traveling on Kentucky Dam Road near the entrance to the Ledbetter bridge when he collided with a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Crystala Nail of Henderson.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
