Overnight work on I-24 Tuesday and Wednesday

Overnight maintenance work along I-24 will block lanes Tuesday and Wednesday.

The work throughout McCracken County will take place from 8 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. each night from mile marker zero all the way to the 17-mile marker. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews will be moving in a caravan, spraying the growth along the cable barriers and guardrails.

Tuesday night’s work was scheduled for the eastbound side, with the westbound scheduled for Wednesday night.
