A Hopkins County man was charged with drug possession after police responded found him passed out in a car in Princeton over the weekend.

Princeton Police were sent to Maple Avenue Sunday morning for an unknown man unconscious behind the steering wheel of a car in the caller’s driveway. Officers said they made contact with 39-year-old John Keplinger Jr., of Hanson, and observed a meth pipe in the vehicle. Police said he was also found in possession of meth and marijuana.

Keplinger was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
