Two teenagers were arrested in Lyon County last week after the sheriff and a deputy tried to serve a warrant for one of them.
Officers from the Lyon County Sheriff's office received an order from Lyon District Court to pick up a 16-year-old female at a home in Eddyville. When they got to the home, a 14-year-old male spotted them and fled. An officer caught up to him and determined that the juvenile was intoxicated, reportedly on alcohol and marijuana.
The male juvenile allegedly resisted, kicking them as they arrested him. He continued to fight even after being placed in a patrol car. The boy was charged with assault, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, and possession of marijuana. He was transported to the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.
The female juvenile was arrested without incident. She was taken to a facility in Bowling Green.
