Kuttawa man arrested following complaint to utility company

A Kuttawa man was arrested Friday on a weapons charge following a complaint by a utility company.

WPKY reported the Lyon County Sheriff's Office said just before 9:30 Friday morning they responded to Dustin Road after utility workers were checking a meter and saw a man come out of the home with a firearm, The suspect, 40-year-old Jacob Weaver rode away on an ATV. 

After being apprehended, further investigation revealed Weaver was a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.  He was lodged in the Critteden County Jail.
