According to KYTN, Mark Welch, Hickman-Fulton County Partnership Director, spoke about a newly formed Business Retention Expansion Program.
Welch said that existing industry in the county is expanding, and he told the commissioners that Community Ventures, an organization that helps individuals and businesses, was purchasing property in Hickman with plans to do both home rehabilitation and new home construction.
Plans are being made to hold additional economic meetings in the future.
