The City of Paducah is excited to invite developers to submit proposals for the development of housing on the city-owned Katterjohn property located at 1501 Broadway.

The city purchased the 3.2-acre property in 2023, which included the deteriorated Katterjohn building after previous owners had failed to properly maintain the structure.

The city is looking for proposals to provide housing on the Katterjohn site, which is zoned both commercial and residential. Proposals are suggested to fit into the housing stock in the Fountain Avenue neighborhood.

In 2024, the city approved a demolition contract to remove the dilapidated structure. The site is now cleared and ready for redevelopment.

Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. on March 31. Please visit 1501 Broadway Proposal Packet to view submission guidelines and proposal details.
