Benton woman arrested, passed out in reported stolen car

A Benton woman was arrested Friday after being found passed out in an allegedly stolen vehicle.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies checked on the vehicle in a parking lot off Mayfield Highway. They said they found 53-year-old Bridget Moryl asleep in the vehicle with an alcohol container. A computer check revealed that the vehicle was not hers.

Moryl was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, and public intoxication.
