Paducah commemorates Flag Day on Monday

The City of Paducah invites the community to a Flag Day Celebration on Monday, June 15 from 9 until 10 a.m. at Dolly McNutt Memorial Plaza, 301 South 5th Street. 

The event includes a flag-raising ceremony, the singing of the national anthem, educational displays, and children’s activities. 

Washington Street between 5th and 6th streets will be closed during the event.

The celebration is organized by the Paducah Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with the Sons of the Revolution, Daughters of the Revolution, U.S. Coast Guard, McCracken County Public Library, and the City of Paducah Police and Fire departments.
