The fair got underway over the weekend with the beauty pageant, 5K run and some agricultural events, and continues through the week with grandstand entertainment, fair food and rides on the midway.
Congratulations to Kendall Terry who was crowned Miss McCracken County 2016 and Shealyn Mason who was crowned Miss Teen McCracken County 2016. These young women will represent western Kentucky in the upcoming state pageants in Louisville. They can also be seen in the 2016 Paducah Christmas parade.
Featured entertainment includes harness racing, horse shows, the annual talent show, weiner dog racing, motorcycle races and the demolition derby. The midway opens Tuesday night.
