Paducah's August 8th Emancipation Celebration began Wednesday, and concludes with several activities scheduled through the weekend:

During the August 8th in person activities, organizers remind attendees to adhere to personal prevention practices such as handwashing, staying home when sick, maintaining six feet of distance, and wearing a face covering.
