Bill G. Tucker

Billy Gene Tucker, 90, of Paducah passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Parkview Nursing Home.

Bill retired from EEI in Joppa after many years in the maintenance department. He loved being on Kentucky Lake with his wife, Irma, fishing or enjoying a ride on the pontoon. Bill was of the Baptist faith.

Bill is survived by one son, David Tucker and his wife Mary D. Tucker; two granddaughters, Leslie (Will) Forbes and April (Collin) Choate; and two great-grandsons, Landon Choate and Luke Choate.

Preceding Bill in death is his wife, Irma Joyce Tucker; his parents, Weldon and Ressie Tucker; and three brothers.

A memorial service for Bill and Irma will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am at the United Church of Paducah, located at 1526 Park Avenue in Paducah (also known as the old Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church). Burial will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois.
