Utilizing the guidelines provided by the state and the CDC, the Center for Health and Wellness began a phased reopening on June 1.
Officials say some of the guidelines will be similar to those for many businesses that have re-opened, in addition to some specific requirements to protect members and staff. Social distancing will be strictly enforced.
They have placed floor signs to indicate appropriate distancing, while emphasizing the importance of social distancing.
Their exercise equipment will be clearly marked on availability to maintain the guidelines, and members are asked to clean the equipment after each use.
Anyone visiting the facility will be required to wear a mask when entering, and will undergo a health screening and sanitization.
They plan to re-open their pool beginning June 7, for lap swimming.
