Tilghman wins again; back-to-back 2A state titles

For a second straight season the Paducah Tilghman baseball team has won the Kentucky 2A Championship.

Tilghman dominated Lawrence County 14-2 in the title game to take the crown on Saturday.

In their three games at the 2A state tournament, the Blue Tornado outscored their opponents 37-18 with a 11-10 first round win over Lexington Catholic on Friday night and a 12-6 win over Franklin-Simpson in the semifinals Saturday.

The Blue Tornado are now 16-3 on the season.
