It's been a decade since he won on the PGA Champions Tour, but Paducah's Russ Cochran is out on the PGA Tour this week, playing as the partner of Eric Cole at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans team event.
Cochran's son Reed as Cole's caddie and Cole invited Cochran to play in the event at TPC Louisiana.
Cole is the son of former PGA Tour golfer Bobby Cole and former LPGA superstar Laura Baugh.
The 65-year-old Cochran won only one PGA Tour event, the 1991 Western Open.
Cochran is also a six time winner of the Irvin Cobb Golf Championship, which will be contested again July 20-21 at Paxton Park Golf Course.
