Multiple outlets are reporting Murray State University is set to hire Creighton assistant Ryan Miller as it's new men's basketball coach.

Miller would replace Steve Prohm, who parted ways with the school after last week's loss to Bradley in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.  Prohm had completed his third season in his second stint as Racers coach.

Miller has never been a head coach, but has been an assistant for two decades at such schools as Memphis, New Mexico, Auburn, TCU and Nevada Las Vegas.

He's been at Creighton since 2021 and during that time the Blue Jays of the Big East Conference have been to the NCAA Sweet 16 twice and just missed the Final Four in 2023.
