Murray State concluded play in the Ft. Myers Tipoff Classic Wednesday by falling to Appalachian State 67-57.
The Racers had four players in double figures led by Brian Moore, Jr. with 18 points with Jacobi Wood adding 11. Rob Perry and Nick Ellington each had 10 points.
The Racers, now 2-3 on the season, open Missouri Valley Conference play next Wednesday hosting Bradley in the CFSB Center at 7 pm.
