Murray State football fell 59-31 to 15th-ranked Missouri State on Saturday at Roy Stewart Stadium on Senior Day.
Kicker James London continued his banner season with field goals of 50, 43 and 52 yards. London has now kicked seven field goals over 50 yards in his record-setting career.
Jayden Johannsen and Kade Neely connected for the Racers first touchdown of the day on a three-yard pass with 4:07 in the second quarter.
Jawaun Northington and Caden Jumper found the end zone through a jump pass from the Racers running back to the tight end to keep Murray State close in the third quarter.
Johannsen threw for 249 yards on 21-34 through the air while Northington led the Racers on the ground with 86 yards on just four rushing attempts. The Racers had 401 yards of total offense.
Murray State (1-9 overall, 0-7 in the MVFC) celebrated 20 seniors for Senior Day as the final home game of the season. Missouri State remained unbeaten in the conference at 6-0, and 8-2 overall.
The Racers now turn their attention to the Kentucky Wildcats for a matchup at Kroger Field in Lexington next weekend.
