McCracken County, Mayfield advance to 1st Region volleyball championship

The 1st and 2nd Region Volleyball Tournament championships are set following last night's semifinals. 

In the 1st Region, McCracken County once again advanced to the championship with a 3-0 win over Graves County. They will face Mayfield, who topped Community Christian Academy 3-1.

The championship match is set for 6pm tonight. 

The Lady Mustangs have won the championship each year since consolidating in 2013.

In the 2nd Region Madisonville-North Hopkins defeated Crittenden County 3-0, while Henderson County topped University Heights 3-1.

That championship is also set for 6pm tonight.
