Boy's regional tournament semifinals scores and stats

Here are scores and stats from the boy's semifinals of the 1st Region basketball tournament held Friday night at the CFSB Center in Murray. McCracken County will play Murray High for the championship on Saturday at 4pm.

McCracken County 58, Mayfield 32

Scoring for McCracken County - Jack McCune 18, Brant Brower 14, Carson Purvis 10, Max Blackwell 6, Cason Tilford 4, Conner Miller 2, Quinterious Bailey 2, Landon Lovell 2.

The Mustangs shot 55% from the floor while going just 1-of-9 from three, but 9-of-13 at the foul line. The Mustangs out-rebounded Mayfield 26-18 in the game as well.

Scoring for Mayfield - Brajone Dabney 6, Sam Stone 6, Nolan Fulton 5, Demarco Gammons 5, Brayden Pate 3, Owen Webb 3, Jonah Watson 2, Novi Barnes 2.

The Cardinals shot just 35% from the floor while going 2-of-12 from three and 4-of-8 at the foul line.

Murray 64, Paducah Tilghman 34

Scoring for Murray - Grant Whitaker 20, Trey Boggess 14, Zavion Carman 10, Mason Grant 6, Caleb Gill 6, Kobe Watson 3, Lincoln English 3, Drew May 2.

The Tigers shot 54% from the floor and went 3-for-8 from behind the arc and 9-of-12 at the foul line. 

Scorng for Paducah Tilghamn - Jayvion Powell 8, Landon Fitzgerald 8, Mian Shaw 7, Brian Thomas 6, Tragen Arthur 5.

The Blue Tornado shot 34% from the floor, went 4-of-15 from three and took just one free-throw in the game going 0-of-1.

This is the second season straight season McCracken County and Murray will play for the regoinal championship. The two teams played each other on February 14 with the Mustangs winning 48-47.
