The University of Kentucky Wildcats will get their shot at a win in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 when they take the court on Friday.

Sixth-seeded Kentucky will be looking to shake off the memory of the loss to St. Peters last year when they take on eleventh-seeded Providence on Friday night.

The Friars are led by a trio of players that are not unfamiliar to Big Blue Nation. Former Wildcat Bryce Hopkins is averaging 16.1 points per game and 8.5 rebounds for the Friars as a sophomore. Former Louisville Cardinal Noah Locke and former Indiana Hoosier Clifton Moore also play at Providence now.

Kentucky fans will be hoping the early exit from the SEC Tournament will allow time for the Cats to get healthy enough to make some noise in the big dance.

Kentucky and Providence will play in Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday evening at approximately 6:10 p.m. Turn down the sound on CBS and listen to Tom Leach and Jack "Goose" Givens with the call. Our coverage will begin on SuperTalk 94.3 WKYX and WiLLiE 102 on Friday at about 4:30 p.m.
