The Henderson Flash got out to a 7-run lead in the fourth inning, then held on for a 9-7 win over the Paducah Chiefs Friday night at Brooks Stadium.
Jaythan Wilson started on the mound for the Chiefs. He gave up four hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings.
Paducah bats woke up a bit too late, but did have 11 hits in the game. Brady Grabowski led the Chiefs with three hits. Ben Brombaugh had two hits with three runs batted in. Ayden Terry and Kyle Hayes each collected multiple hits for Paducah.
Paducah gets Saturday off, then heads for Hopkinsville Sunday and Madisonville on Monday. The Chiefs' next home game is Tuesday with Fulton at 6:30 p.m.
