The Paducah Chiefs rallied from a 7-0 deficit to defeat the Fulton Railroaders 11-8 in the Ohio Valley League season opener for both teams last night at Brooks Stadium.
The Chiefs sent 11 men to the plate in the 8th inning, scoring five times. Will Gibbs had three hits including a pair of doubles. Noah Boone added a double and a triple in the victory.
David Brumbach in relief picked up the pitching win for Paducah.
The Chiefs visit the Hoptown Hoppers at 6:30 this evening. They'll return home to meet Full Count Saturday night at 6:30 and host Bowling Green Sunday night at 6.
