First Region basketball tournament starts tonight

Western Kentucky's First Region high school basketball tournament starts tonight at the CFSB Center in Murray.

Today and Tuesday will be first round games for the girls, while the boy's first round games are Wednesday and Thursday.

The semifinals for the girls will be played Friday. On Saturday it will be the semifinals for the boys and then the championship game for the girls. The boy's championship will be Sunday afternoon.

6pm - District 2 winner McCracken County (29-2) takes on District 4 runner-up Christian Fellowship (22-10) 
7:30pm - District 1 winner Carlisle County (19-10) takes on District 3 runner-up Mayfield (17-10)

Tuesday
6pm - District 3 winner Graves County (24-7) takes on District 2 runner-up Paducah Tilghman (13-10)
7:30pm - District 4 winner Marshall County (17-14) takes on District 1 runner-up Fulton County (11-9)


Boys First Round
Wednesday
6pm - District 4 winner Murray (21-8) takes on District 2 runner-up Paducah Tilghman (21-10)
7:30pm - District 3 winner Mayfield (24-5) takes on District 1 runner-up Hickman County (14-15)

Thursday 
6pm - District 2 winner McCracken County (26-5) takes on District 4 runner-up Marshall County (20-10)
7:30pm - District 1 winner Carlisle County (16-14) takes on District 3 runner-up Graves County (11-19)
