Freshman quarterback Cutter Boley will get the start for the Wildcats on Saturday as they take on archrival Louisville.

Boley will get his first start after what Coach Mark Stoops described as a poised performance in the second half against number 3 Texas. Stoops made the announcement during his weekly press conference. Boley was 10 of 18 passing for 160 yards in the 31 to 14 loss to the Longhorns.

The QB change came after Brock Vandergriff struggled to get the offense moving going 3 of 7 for just 51 yards and a touchdown.

Kentucky's streak of bowl appearances is over after eight straight. The Cats wrap up the season with the Battle for the Governor's Cup against Louisville.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. Central Time on Saturday. You can hear it on the UK Radio Network, here, at SuperTalk 94.3 WKYX and WiLLiE 102. Coverage begins at 9 a.m.
