Kyle Patrick Jones, age 57, passed away suddenly September 17, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky due to a post-surgical pulmonary embolism after undergoing a successful hip replacement surgery.

Kyle was looking forward to being able to return to his favorite physical activities, hobbies and interests. As an avid bowler, Kyle received two Gold medals and one Bronze medal, along with several ribbons, for his participation on the Kingpins Bowling Team in the State Tournament for the Kentucky Special Olympics in 2012--2014.

Kyle attended Carl D. Perkins Vocational Training Center where he received computer training and was a 1978 graduate of Reidland High School.

Kyle loved people and animals. He never met a stranger and had friends from coast to coast, often traveling with his sister Kimberly to Los Angeles. Kyle attended truck driving school and aspired to become an over-the-road semi-truck driver to fulfill his life-long dream of driving cross-country. He also loved CB radio and aspired to get his HAM radio license.

Kyle loved music and dancing. He was the ultimate country music fan and attended the Country Music Association Festival (CMA Fest) every year where he met some his favorite artists including LeAnn Rimes, Billy Ray Cyrus, Charlie Daniels and many others. He had hoped to be able to do the Two-Step and an Irish Jig after his recovery.

Kyle believed we were all connected and had an obsession for genealogy. He became an expert at tracing the family lineage on both sides of his family tree. Anyone that knew Kyle knew his greatest joy was to connect all of the branches of his family and his friends. Kyle would be delighted to see all of his family names together, so we humbly include four generations of his family as a tribute to Kyle’s lifelong passion.
