James “Pee Wee” Earl Martin, Sr., age 65, of Paducah, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 9, 2018, at 1:59 p.m.
James was employed as a butcher with Metzger’s Packing Company for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Devonna “Tiny” Winston Martin of Paducah; two sons, James Martin, Jr. of Louisville and Christopher Dumas of Paducah; two daughters, Malinda Martin of Louisville and Abbie Pracket of Paducah; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Johnny Fitzgerald, Reverend Raymond Martin, and Lovell Martin, all of Paducah, Brian Martin and Billy Martin,both of Terre Haute, IN; Reverend Cecil Martin, of Indianapolis, IN; seven sisters, Silvia Obanon of Louisville, Rose Marie White, Trish Hixon, Diane Stevens, all of Paducah; ILisa Handy of Springfield, IL, Lucretta Martin Lambert of El Paso, TX and Toni Martin of Terre Haute, IN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Clarence Martin, Sr. and Pauline Fitzgerald-Martin-Holmes, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Saturday April 14, 2018, at 12:00 noon. Reverend Michael Wade will officiate.
Friends may also call on the family at the funeral home in Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
