Abel Harding, 91, of Paducah died at 1:30 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Harding was retired from the McCracken County Board of Education and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of West Paducah.
He is survived by two brothers, Truman Harding of Bevin, LA and Freddie Harding of Paducah; two sisters, Fay Bickers of Memphis, TN and Anna Burnett of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Grubbs) Harding; parents, Garrett A. and Elzora (Riley) Harding; one son, Larry Don Harding; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Davidson and Rev. Wes Conner officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the church.
