Mrs. Marilyn Jeanne Ballard, age 71 of Wildwood, MO, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James Conrad and Agnes Cecilia (Elliott) Wilson.
Mrs. Ballard began her career in 1972 as a registered nurse and worked at various hospitals and nursing homes. She completed her career and retired after 18 years of service, for what she was most proud of, as a middle school nurse.
Mrs. Ballard is survived by her husband, Samuel C. Ballard, two sons, Christopher Ballard, Kevin Ballard and one daughter, Diana (Travis) Colgin of the St. Louis area, three granddaughters, Hannah Ballard, Chloe Colgin, Ava Colgin and one grandson, Ethan Colgin, three sisters, Janet (Marty) Toon, Loretta (Gene) Leeper, Evelyn (Dale) Spraggs, all of Fancy Farm, KY, three brothers, Michael (Donna) Wilson of Fancy Farm, KY, Gary (Holly) Wilson of West Paducah, KY and Joe (Julie) Wilson of Mayfield, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY at a later date, but are incomplete at this time.
