F. Harley Jones, 79 of Decatur died at 7:17 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2024, at home.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Paducah, KY. Matt Herndon will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the cemetery. Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy is in charge of arrangements.
Harley was born on March 10, 1945, in Mayfield, KY the son of James Harley and Mary Helen Brown Jones. He married Judy A. Jones on November 9, 1963, in Paducah, KY. She died on August 14, 2019.
Survivors include four sons; Lee (Florence) Jones of Georgetown, Jimmy (Tena) Jones of Paducah, KY, Mike (Michelle) Jones of Decatur, David (Penny) Jones of Catlin, nine grandchildren; Alicia (Clay) Stevens, Tabatha Jones, Travis Weidenburner, Cody Jones, Shane (Alyvia)Jones, Brittany (Chris) Muhlbeier, Nicole (Sean) Jones, Chance Jones, Jordan Jones, 10 great grandchildren;, one brother; Paul Jones of Paducah, KY, and two sisters; Darlene Howle of Paducah, KY and Charlene Jones of Ashland City, TN.
He was preceded in death by one grandson; Blake Robert Haley Jones and one sister; Phylis Marie.
Harley was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a retired Southern Baptist minister.
Harley was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Decatur.
Harley loved woodworking, waterfowl hunting and spending time with his great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
