Brenda Lou Housden

Brenda Lou Housden, age 73, of Lumberton, Texas, native of Paducah, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, 12:00 Noon, at her home.
She was born in Paducah on December 5, 1949 to Willie Ware Housden and Clara Juanita Snyder Housden. Brenda attended Heath High School. She was of the Baptist Faith. She worked at Borden Milk Co. Creamery and Ice Factory and later spent many years working for Jodeez Kustom Kartel, Inc. A few things Brenda loved and enjoyed the most in life was listening to Elvis Presley recordings, traveling home to Kentucky for family cookouts, going to Bob’s Drive-In for a Fiesta Burger, attending car shows and playing bingo.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her soulmate Jody Lynn Sowers of Lumberton, Texas, two sons Jackson Leo “Bubba” Walker of Paducah and Robert Dwayne Tucker of Lumberton, Texas, four grandsons Christopher Mitchell (Maria) Harper of Ledbetter, Peyton Walker of Paducah, Justin Keaton (Kirsten) Walker and Gabriel Michael-Riley Walker of Grand Rivers; two granddaughters Rebekah Rae-Leigh Walker (Zach) Day of Benton, Mikeliah Cheyanne Walker of Paducah; 12 great grandchildren, one sister Karen Sue Housden Ali-Frost of Paducah, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her daughters Juanita Lee Walker and Tammy June Walker Harper; son in law Mitchell Ray Harper; her parents; a sister Shirley Lee Housden Melvin; three brothers Robert Ray Housden, Richard Keith Housden and Willie Joe Housden.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, Texas. A memorial service with interment is scheduled for Friday, February 16, 2024, 1:30 PM, at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum 6965 Old US-45 Paducah, KY 42003.
