Timothy "Tim" Edward Shawhan

  
Mr. Timothy ‘Tim’ Edward Shawhan, 60, of Hazel, K/y passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mr. Shawhan was born May 5, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Thomas E. Shawhan and Roberta M. Thill Meyer of Shalimar, FL.
Tim was a self-employed painter “Tim’s Painting” for many years and a man of faith.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, helping with veterans and cancer benefits and being with friends. 
Preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Shawhan; and sister, Sandra ‘Sandy’ J. Paschall.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa K. Henderson Shawhan of Hazel, KY; one son, Victor Elliot Clayton of Hazel, KY;  three sisters; Sherri (Mike) Moritz of Traverse City, MI, Heidi Meyer Clayton of Southaven, MS, and Holly Meyer of Paris, TN; one brother, Thomas ‘Tom’ (Norma) Shawhan of Dayton, OH; serval nieces and nephews; Jen (Jim) Porter, Matt Moritz, Chris (Lynne) Moritz, Adam (Stephanie) Moritz, Rebecca Paschall, Donovan Diggs, Lily Green, Brian (Megan) Shawhan, Jacob (Jordan) Shawhan, Brianna (Dan) Trapp; and loved by many great nieces and nephews; one father in-law, Joe Lee Henderson of Hazel, KY; one brother in-law, Teddy Lee Henderson (Roxanne) of IA; one cousin in-law; Richard ‘Ricky’ Paris of Dallas TX; and many, many marvelous friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
