Mrs. Wanda Faye Hughes

Mrs. Wanda Faye Hughes, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Hughes was born on July 12, 1947, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Roy Arlon Willoughby and Geneva (Futrell) Willoughby. She retired after working at Wal-Mart for 40 years and was a member of the New Providence Church of Christ. She loved watching television, her grandchildren, crafts, baking and giving to others, and loved having visitors of all kinds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Willoughby.
Survivors include her husband, Jacky Lee Hughes of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Cindy Lee Hicks and husband Pat of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Linda Chadwick of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Dallas Willoughby and wife Ladean of Murray, Kentucky; one grandchild, Bridgett Kirks and husband Robert of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Remington and Weston Kirks both of Murray, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Alan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Coles Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
