Mrs. Shelby Gean Hargrove Lorson

Mrs. Shelby Gean (Hargrove) Lorson, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.
 
            Mrs. Lorson was born in Trigg County, Kentucky on November 28, 1936, to the late Henry Hargrove and Jettie (Futrell) Hargrove. She was retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
 
            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lorson; second husband, Milton Freeman; one sister, Helen Hargrove; as well as one brother, Herbert Thomas Hargrove.
 
            Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Eugene Loe and wife Irene of Dexter, Kentucky and Gerald Freeman and wife Jerie of Benton, Kentucky; two nephews, Ricky Hargrove of New Concord, Kentucky and Corey Hargrove of Murray, Kentucky; one great-nephew, Austin Hargrove and wife Breanna of Almo, Kentucky; one great-niece, Ashley (Hargrove) Bynum and husband Jimmy of Murray, Kentucky.
 
            A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens in Dover, Tennessee. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
