Mrs. Linda Kay Erwin Workman, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
            Mrs. Workman was born on September 9, 1945, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late James Euel Erwin and Brenda Brandon Erwin. Linda was co-owner of Southwest Farms, in which she dedicated her life to.  Linda was a hard worker, always willing to get her hands dirty in the fields alongside the men. She worked in tobacco and tended to the farm, family, and home with dedication and care. In her early years, she worked in the Calloway County School System. Linda was a devoted mother, wife, “Nana,” and a cherished friend to all. Her smile could brighten any room, and her laughter was truly infectious. A talented cook, she lovingly prepared meals for her family and farmhands throughout the seasons. She was an active member of the Antioch Church of Christ. As a child, she was a member of South Pleasant Grove Methodist Church and a proud member of the South Pleasant Grove Homemakers Club.
            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tammy Kay Workman; and one brother, James Dale Erwin.
            Survivors include her husband, Eddie Workman of Murray, Kentucky, they married on July 20, 1963, in Paris, Tennessee; daughter, Lisa McDougal and husband Terry of Murray; son, Greg Workman and wife Shaun of Murray; three sisters, Carolyn Parks of Murray, Sheila James and husband George of Hazel, and Joanne Mahan of Hazel; four grandchildren, Gage Workman, Lindsey Scott and husband Bryan, Amy Dale and husband Leighton and Whitney Bridges and husband Brandon; four great grandchildren, Branley Scott, Libby Dale, Remington Bridges and Edie Dale, all of Murray. 
            A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Brother Al “Butch” Colley and Brother John Dale will officiate, and burial will follow in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00–3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
